Premise

Gameplay

The gameplay of this game is essentially a roguelike that would include a variety of procedurally generated maps, as well as randomized encounters, individual unit modifiers and permadeath. The game is designed to challenge the player through sessions that last 20 to 30 minutes.

This game has similarities to chess, with the player's units being more so pieces of the army, which have to take down enemy pieces, and each unit of the player's army would have unique skills. At the start of each round, a biome will be created, and it will have random rooms, enemies, hazards, bosses, and more. Each run features a series of rooms. At the end of each run, there is a boss battle involved.

Fae

The Fae, who have a queen called "The Fae Queen", have watched over the world of the game for eternity and gently steer destiny along its tracks. The Fae can be challenged in an annual WizardChess tournament, also hosted by the Fae.
